Dr Roderick Roberts MB BS FRACP AGAF

 

Dr Roberts graduated from the University of Queensland in 1969. He was a Resident at the Royal Brisbane Hospital in 1970 and 1971 and a Medical Registrar at the Melbourne Hospital in 1973 and 1974.

He subsequently trained in gastroenterology at Royal Brisbane Hospital in 1975 and 1976 after which continued his training at Vanderbilt Medical School in Nashville Tennessee. He was a faculty member at the University of Queensland and then the University of Texas in San Antonio before entering private practice in 1985.

Dr Roberts has continued to maintain a long and close association with Royal Brisbane Hospital. His clinical and research interests have included inflammatory bowel disease, coeliac disease, drug induced liver disease and polyp surveillance.

Dr Roberts consults at Wickham Terrace, Brisbane Endoscopy Services at Sunnybank and North West Private Hospital. He also performs procedures at Chermside Day Hospital, Brisbane Endoscopy Services at Sunnybank, Wesley and North West Private Hospitals.
