General Manager

Wendy Bomgaars (Director, QLD Practice Management) has recently been appointed to the position of General Manager for GastroIntestinal Endoscopy & Brisbane Endoscopy Servcies.  Wendy has recently joined the group in April 2009 and is responsible for the day-to-day operational, strategic and financial management of both entities.

Amanda Kim holds the position as Director of Nursing at Brisbane Endoscopy Services. Anne Lavender holds the position of Acting Administration Manager for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Services (GIE) and Brisbane Endoscopy Services (BES).  Both Anne and Amanda have vast experience in their respective fields and have developed core policies and procedures which have assisted in the establishment of gastrointestinal quality systems across the BES and GIE sites. Anne and Amanda provide valuable support to the Gastroenterologists and their team members.

Chermside Day Hospital

Alison Murray & Chris Blackmore

Chris Blackmore holds the position Administration Team Leader for GIE and Alison Murray holds the position of Assistant Director of Nursing and Clinical Nurse - Gastroenterology - at Chermside Day Hospital.

Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Services commenced services simultaneous to the opening of Chermside Day Hospital, in September 2008. Both Alison & Chris have been instrumental in developing policies and procedures for the GastroIntestinal Endoscopy Service within this facility. Alison & Chris have a long association with the Gastroenterologists and additionally with the nuances of Gastrointestinal services and procedures.

North West Private Hospital

Katherine Pereira

Katherine is the Administration Team leader for the GIE services based within North West Private Hospital. The ever reliable Kath, along with team members provide a very efficient and friendly service for the Gastroenterologists, the patients and their families as well as ably assisting the local referring medical community. There is a long standing history of local GP support which is very much appreciated by the Gastroenterologists and North West Private Hospital. Our Gastroenterologists believe this support is very much the result of the hard work, attention to detail and friendliness provided by Kath and the team.

Wesley Private Hospital

Cheryl is the Administration officer for GIE administration services based within the Endoscopy Unit at the Wesley Hospital.  Cheryl is extremely adaptable and thoroughly enjoys assisting & educating  staff to enable them to reach their full potential. Cheryl is a pleasure to work with and always welcomes her patients with a very warm smile. Cheryl's  happy demeanor and her wealth of knowledge is reflected in the care and attention she provides to her patients and staff.
